bottle ships museum
The zuiderhavendijk is a small harbour the entrance to the ijselmeer is under the museum. a wonderful museum filled with ships-in-bottles in this old building.

the lichtjesavond thumbs
Thousands of people from Enkhuizen and neighborhood enjoyed the lichtjesavond in the old city-center this Saturday night. Lichtjesavond for the fifth successive year.
Basically it's Enkhuizen lighted by candles (the street lights been extinguished between seven and nine, we do have em). In spite of strong wind most of the candles continued to burn. The flames burn in randomly collected jars.
